I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world, learn the ins and outs of the company, interact with key management, and learn anything I wanted to learn.

    Cons

Its hard to rotate in and out of groups unless you are willing to move to Basking Ridge.

I worked at Verizon full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits but as you go into management they take more and more away from you and make you pay more every year. Froze pensions, up healthcare costs, so you merit raise every year didn't matter you would loose every year and took a pay cut because the benefits were higher every year

    Cons

Always afraid if loosing your job, they threaten you all with your job "this job wont be here next year". They keep the people who suck and got rid of the good people who were making more money just to cut costs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review the people you are going to lay off. Look at peoples yearly reviews and determine from there. Layoffs were suppose to be by performance not salary.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
