    Pros

Amazing salaries, bonuses, benefits, FMLA, perks. You are also protected b a Union that works for you to "look after your best interest". When you are first hired, they give you 4 months of paid training with mileage reimbursement, so for the first 4 months you have a check that's almost double what you will be getting once you are at your job location

    Cons

Quotas, Step system, if you are out from work and is not fmla approved, you go on step and it an take up to a year of no unexcused absences

    Advice to Management

As we are required to empathize with our customers, you MUST empathize with your employees

    Pros

Excellent pay and benefits. Includes domestic partnership for LGBT families to receive benefits.

    Cons

Extremely high standards. if you get a supervisor who takes a personal dislike to you, you can do your best and they will nit pick to determine that you haven't done your job. Offer a product or service to a customer? It wasn't a good enough offer. A customer complaining and you can't get a word in edgewise before they hung up on you? You didn't ask if their problem had been resolved. Offered a great product or service and the customer wasn't interested? You didn't offer an alternative. Maybe you thought the customer wouldn't want an alternative because the alternative would increase costs and they specifically wanted to lower their costs. You didn't ask, therefore you don't know that they wouldn't be willing to increase their costs for this. Maybe you did offer an alternative and the alternative would increase their costs. Why would you offer that when the customer specifically said they wanted to lower their costs? Maybe you offered an alternative that would lower the customer's costs. Do you think we're in the business of losing money? Damned if you do damned if you don't. If you're in the manager/supervisor's favor, you did the right thing under the circumstances. If not, you did the wrong thing. If a customer calls in and waits on hold for 45 minutes because they are upset that their bill went from $35.73 to $35.94, you still need to offer a product or service. Because customers who are willing to spend 45 minutes to find out about a 21 cent increase in taxes are absolutely in need of a new $30 case. Oh, wait, you're supposed to find out more about the customer. But don't spend more than five minutes on the phone. You don't want your call rates to drop. "Oh, I hear a dog, you want the $200 pet tracker?"

    Advice to Management

    Consistency.
