I worked at Verizon

Pros

Solid tech and offerings, good pay and stable

Cons

Very busy, working retail can be draining

Advice to ManagementAdvice

My store leadership could have benefited from more leading by example and support of sales staff, rather than hiding in the back all the time and avoiding irate/problem customers

I have been working at Verizon

    Pros

Great benefits and a somewhat flexible schedule. The benefits here start from the first day you are employed with verizon which is great.

    Cons

You are required to work most weekends and holidays when you first start out. The hours are long and you don't get paid very much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to take more advice from their employees and suggestions they give. The employees would be much happier and the company would run smoother.

    I worked at Verizon

    Pros

Great Benefits, Great Pay, Great Training, and a Great selection of mobile devices, with fantastic Coverage Area. Lots of Wonderful people to work with.

    Cons

Live to work, instead of Work to Live! Verizon prides itself on being a very hard company to work for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To make your employees feel appreciated, and to thank them for a Great Job done! To be more understanding if an emergency comes up, and not to exspect the employee to give 2 weeks scheduling notice for an emergency.
