Verizon – “Month to month grind...have to sell substantial amounts to keep job”
Pros
Wonderful benefits along with solid base pay. Commission structure is alright. Vacation is plentiful as long as the numbers are there.
Cons
Number, Number, Numbers...I like selling but if you are not selling or fall on couple hard months see you later. It is the hero to zero mentality every month and it gets old. Need more support in day to day operations. Cannot sell sell sell like they state when I have some much maintenance with existing customers that need help.
Advice to Senior Management
Please provide some breathing room. Going back to a 3 month rolling average on quota would be nice instead of trying to knock it out of the park every month. Phone sales is extremely competitive and many factors come into play when closing a sale.
