    Pros

    Great benifits, and if you do good on every call and say the right thing EVERY time you get lots of candy and junk food.

    Cons

    The benifits were a band-aid for the problem. Verizon. Management culture is obsessed with After Call surveys (ACS) ACS affects your end of year merit increases and sti. it also affects your day to day, and call to call life. NOT EXAGGERATING!!!!!! after 5 years it just got to me. as a tech. cust service would pass the buck to tech to avoid telling the cust the truth and risk getting the bad ACS. Customers would call in multiple times to try to get a different answer. best time to call CS or TECH? beginning of the month and squeak the loudest. that is the time that management is TERRIFIED of bad ACS calls.

    Advice to Management

    ACS is a metric to gauge the customers perceptions. Every team i was on the customer was just a potential number. Maybe look into not every customer is always right, no matter how many times they call in. and possibly look into ways to deal with customer abuse.

    Pros

    Pay is great
    Benefits are one of the best I have ever seen
    Training is better than what I got in 4 years at college
    The people at this company are awesome for the most part

    Cons

    I guess the only con would be if you are in the retail end and then you have to work every weekend...
