    Pros

Verizon wireless has awesome benefits that include the standard ones like medical, dental, vision, as well as things like tuition assistance, company gym memberships on site, and a lot of corporate perks. There is fantastic room for advancement, and you are rated on your merit. It is a great company to work for and with.

    Cons

Call centers all have their frustrations and down sides, however, Verizon does work hard to minimize the problems that come with working in a call center.

    Advice to Management

Focus on customer satisfaction, not sales. Customer service and tech support should not be held responsible for increasing sales.

    Pros

Amazing place to learn as an intern. The management was flexible and the engineering staff was very open to passing along their knowledge.

    Cons

Trying to get an associate position for long term employment as an intern had lots of red tape. I was looked over for some associate positions because they saw me an an internal hire.

    Advice to Management

Make sure HR is keeping opportunities for interns to become full time employees open. It is a shame to train an intern & have them leave after their degree is complete.
