Overall I was very pleased while working with this company, my main complaint was "overworked and stress level".

Former Employee - Network Engineer in Southlake, TX

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits and bonuses, I would say top 10% of companies in the country.

    Cons

Due to a bonus program, managers disregard getting staff help when timelines for projects and new technologies hit the floor. This created a high stress, long work hours environment and most on exempt salary...ie no overtime.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

In order to keep your staff happy, you need to hire more employees, or at the very least, more temp contractors to assist with the workload. Trying to get assistance via contractor work is like pulling teeth without novacaine. Then when you do get a contractor, after 2 years and trained thoroughly, the company lets them go only to have to start over with someone new. That is just insane!

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
