I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Verizon Wireless has great health benefits.

Cons

It is somewhat difficult to move up within the company if you start off as a Customer Service Rep. Verizon Wireless has high expectations for Reps and Coordinators however they do not pay you based on experience or college degree.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would recommend paying individuals based on work experience and degree.

I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits, colleagues, annual raise, tution reimbursement, technical.

    Cons

It's who you know-when it comes to career progression. You must learn to play politics right in order to move ahead. It's All about numbers, no work/life balance if you're in sales (mostly). Capped on commissions. Territory based for B2B channel which makes it difficult to network and grow your book of business (depending on your territory).. Processes are confusing and very unorganized-can be difficult to remember all term/ acronyms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your management in sales to learn how to motivate and encourage, and treat employees with trust and respect. Cut the bureaucracy.
