Pros

Verizon Wireless has great health benefits.

Cons

It is somewhat difficult to move up within the company if you start off as a Customer Service Rep. Verizon Wireless has high expectations for Reps and Coordinators however they do not pay you based on experience or college degree.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would recommend paying individuals based on work experience and degree.

    I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Decent benefits but nothing great for a company of its size.
    If you have a cushy job you can leave on time 99% of time. Good for working moms.

    Cons

    Un or under educated crowd. Some managers are uneducated even at the director. Unsophistication shows everywhere. Not much respect for employees regardless of their tenure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Start paying a good salary so you can attract sophisticated management from other companies.

    Decent pay, great benefits, a lot of paid time off

    Cons

    Very poor leadership that creates a hostile work environment, very little support while on the calls, leaders expect you to be perfect on every call, but are very un-supportive if you need help, very high stress

    Higher better leaders, listen to your employees
