Current Employee – been working at Verizon Wireless full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Professional environment
Great Benefits
Good leadership
Yearly bonuses and raises
Career advancement
Awesome Pay
Cons – some of the things management expects of employees is ridiculous
they want you to say more and more to the customers but take more calls have lower stats they want perfection
Advice to Senior Management – Management should put themselves on the phones for a bit. Maybe then they can set some more realistic goals for metrics. Sometimes you cannot keep customers on the phone and fix their problem. I don't know how many times I would have the help the customer but they had to go. Their bill was a mess or something and I would have to ruin my stats and get into trouble all just because I was going above and beyond for a customer. Decide one or the other you either want to provide great customer service or you want to take calls and fast as possible. Also quite coming up with more and more fees to charge customers it just makes them unhappy to say the least.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
