    Former Contractor - Anonymous Contractor
    Former Contractor - Anonymous Contractor

I worked at Verizon Wireless as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

hard workers and team players all around. this motivates you to work harder and longer.
work is always appreciated. always work to do. benefits are great.

    Cons

corporate culture is a little too strong on controlling and monitoring everything an employee does. it's understandable in this day and age. company is focused on building and saving revenue aggressively, cutting back hours and requesting heavy loads of work. sometimes even requesting that you work some hours for free.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

management should be a little more mindful of employee requests.
