I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

At Verizon Wireless the employees are recognized for their contributions and doing more than just what's required. The company also offer a great 401k structure and discounts off of Verizon and Verizon Wireless plans.

Cons

Since the network is growing at a good pace, the work environment can be overly stressful times.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to encourage rewarding employees who excel. Entertain the idea of some telecommuting for a better work/life balance.

I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Steady hours...and benefits are okay.

    Cons

Goal based incentives were achieved but not often paid as the mgmt often stated..."oh yeah... we forgot to note these had to be ALL NEW customers in order for the sale to be counted...". Left you feeling defeated. Worked with alot of young people (ages 19-26) and many have no respect for mgmt or other people in general and don't practice basic hygiene. And if the employee manual is clear about the office casual dress code.. then please put your boobs (or butt crack!) away.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Enforce policies!
