I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Plenty of overtime opportunity, friendly work environment, helpful coworkers/managers, income potential, internal promotions, positive atmosphere, insightful/beneficial training programs, benefits! 401k match, tuition reimbursement, service discounts.

    Cons

    Currently retail...not great hours.
Not guaranteed income based on various quotas/promos.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep taking care of retail employees...continue with incentives. Internal store managers need to get on the same page- keep things a bit more consistent throughout the different stores/zones.

I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Outstanding compensation as you start your career with consistent merit increases. 8k/year in tuition assistance that can be paid up front to your institution in most cases- not something you have to foot the bill for first. Annual bonuses that are performance based. Start out with lots of paid time off and sick time.

    Cons

Results driven environment which can pull away from your personal time if you aren't careful. The attendance policy is very strict. You are provided with more than enough personal / vacation / sick time, but if you exceed those it can lead to termination.
