I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits: health insurance, tuition reimbursements, bonuses, they provide sufficent amount of training

    Cons

Nepotism to the extreme, store reps deceive customers and as the customer specialist/advocate have to play clean up all the time. They promote and give opportunities to people who liked for personal more than professional. They claim it's diverse, but cram all of the black people in the call center and want to keep them there. Unless you know the right people expect to jump through hoops to move up!

    Advice to Management

Diversity doesn't mean keeping black in one building and everyone else in the other. Give opportunities to people who want to pursue a career past the call center based on education and experience not just numbers!
