    Pros

Hard work does NOT go unnoticed. Phenomenal people to work with. Everyone for the most part is very educated and open minded. The corporate energy is infectious and you always feel like you are a part of a huge team.

    Cons

Higher-ups have a lot of seniority and benefits, don't come in a whole lot, and sometimes represent a team that does more grunt work than they do.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work in terms of keeping everybody a part of the big Viacom family. Maybe some more benefits and cool opportunities for lower-level employees.

  2. Progressive culture; work conditions can vary greatly by dept/mgr

    Pros

Most employees are forward-thinking, open and care about their work and the company
Good PTO benefits for longer-term and/or senior staff -- if you can use it (see "Cons")
Corporate culture is generally informal, supportive and inclusive

    Cons

Experiences vary greatly depending on what department you're in and who your manager is. Some positions, especially in production and sales and related support functions, can be very demanding resulting in long hours and difficulty taking time off
Upper management has been slow to react to shifts in how content is consumed by younger viewers

    Advice to Management

Don't let the challenges related to content distribution and changes in viewing habits take away from the work environment that (still) helps to make the company stand out.
