I worked at Viasystems

Pros

Company grew out of some major electronics manufacturer, the culture is very diverse and I found it a good mix.

Cons

As it is still adapting to its past phenomenal growth, it sometimesw has a fair amount of package that it carries around.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep on working to grow this company and the costs will continuously improve. The employees are still a great asset to the business.

I have been working at Viasystems full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very good work environment, average benefits and good payment. I can work from my home with no problems and the shift hours are very flexible.

    Cons

Company is still going through the growing pains of transforming its business model; new building, more paybills, workload is heavy and a lot of 'special projects' but still managable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work, way to go but we can make this ship to stay

I worked at Viasystems full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Steady paycheck. Smart and professional co-workers.

    Cons

Smart ,educated and professionals don't stay very long. Low pay, no raises for operators, borderline sweatshop mentality. No respect for anyone. There is bullying and threats from upper management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward your employees with positive feedback. Go out on the shop floor and get to know who works for you. Happy employees= happy company...try it..it just might work.
