Lots and lots of parties
Laptops instead of desktops
Offices abroad kept in sync via video conferencing
You are not expected to be part of the party culture

Cons

Technology very immature
Management is not savy - more businessmen than do'ers
Lots of infighting (it's encouraged)
Very little advancement in R&D
Very unfriendly work environment
Hires based on current ability and not future growth
Company is looking to be bought or IPO

Advice to Senior Management

Strip out your middle management
Encourage learning and cooperation
Reduce the politics. Too much for an office with small staff
