I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time for less than a year

Pros

Employee Discount- up to 30%
Flexible Hours
Great Atmosphere
$10/$15 bras
periodic free bras
Great training program
Everyone in different departments help each other
Everyone is trained in almost all the areas in the store, for example Beauty, Lingerie, Cashier, and PINK.
Management helped with all closing procedures and never came off as if they were too good to fold panties or pick up small garbage.

Cons

Closing can take up to two hours because all the panties have to be folded and once you're done in your department you have to help the other department.
If you are staying till closing you cannot leave until everyone is done.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

All the discounts and freebies you get. The fun environment of the people you work with around your own age.

    Cons

They fact that they don't always keep their word on things. You can be dedicated to the company for years and barely slightly move up and when asked to move up within the company or get coached, sometimes negative feedback is more then positive.. They swing your hours like crazy and sometimes just don't give you the earned respect you deserve.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The people you work with are generally nice. When I began I worked with an amazing manager, she was easy to connect to and was always looking out for our best interest.

    Cons

If you're just part of the sales team, if you need to call out because you are sick you Must get a doctors note. If you don't, you get written up. You will also only make minimum wage, and be given hours based on the previous weeks sales, so your hours are never certain. If you make minimum wage, you can't afford insurance, and a visit to the doctor can cost upwards of $60. That's not even a full days work. So how are you expected to afford to visit the doctor and miss a day of work?
