I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time for more than a year

    Pros

An enormous opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the fashion retail world.
Company invest a great amount of training for associates that is very engaging and inspiring.
    Hardwork is praised and rewarded.
Great open door policy and the overall culture is very open and honest.

    Cons

the amount of work that is asked of associates, supervisors and managers is not properly compensated. For a company with such an amazing brand story and reputation the amount of pay that is offered oes not match.
There is no work life balance at all.
Once you work as any level of management at Victoria's Secret it takes over all aspects of your life, spending more time at work than at home trying to carry out all actions the corporation ask for the retail spaces to conduct daily and the task are constantly changing.
The technology is slow and archaic they are not as advance for the volume that they are making and that they want to be making.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fight for better technology faster make the retail jobs easier by focusing on task that help the associates and managers give 1000% customer service. But mainly just get the technology up to speed and listen to your stores that are begging for help in improving their stores. Take care of the stores that care and are fighting to make their stores better and more efficient!!!!! They are wanting to this for the greater good of the company and should not be met with so many obstacles and waste of time run arounds from the corporate level!!!!!

    Pros

    We received discounts on items.

    Cons

Discounts were small, competitive culture with little reward, no feedback, no room for upward mobility, poor managers, breaks were often cut short.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire managers that WANT to be there.
