I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The company has a great set of core values that they tie into EVERYTHING they do. As cheesy as this may sound, the core values are really refreshing and their dominance in how they guide this company is somehow comforting. They also try to invest in employees that want to invest time and effort into their career with Victoria's. As for those not as interested in making it into a career -- there's still a good amount of training about the product. And getting some of the merchandise discounts and freebies is great too!

    Cons

The company is great... however, sometimes management is a little strange. There's a decent amount of apparent favoritism -- and one can't help but wonder if the fact that it's a majority of women running the in-store experience also contributes to the catiness that sometimes arises.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure you get the right people into the right positions. Also, it's always a good idea to be conscious of how you treat people. People don't quit their jobs, they quit their managers. Something to ALWAYS keep in mind when you notice high-turnover.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You learn about various bras and helping women find their size and style of bras for them.

    Cons

Too much favoritism with managers. Too much tension between the team and managers. Hours are a bit long. Selection of moving up in the company really isn't the most reasonable. Pay is just ok.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better with your team and your employees company goals.
