I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Fast paced environment, fun people around you while you work both customers and employees. Its easy to built a passion for the company and the people on your team. Very easy to stand out and move up in the company.

Cons

The passion you build for the company is not mutual, the efforts of MOST of the employees is not compensated correctly through payment. Time invested in the development of the business and team, is not recognized.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider some more intense training for Management Team, as other companies are successfully rolling out. Appreciate the hourly part-time associates, the company and Managers ask a lot from them and we do not compensate accordingly.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

Great perks. Fun retreat. Looks great on your resume. Learn how to budget for events and how to event plan and promote.

    Cons

Big part of the job is just telling their designers what you think about certain products. No backup or guidance from corporate when you have issues. Your performance is judged on how many people attend your events but different schools have different #'s of students so smaller schools are judged unfairly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more involved with the specific campuses because every campus is different.
