I have been working at Victorinox Swiss Army

    Pros

Great brand and products, good benefits, good pay, great people through all levels of the organization, flexibility of hours with a great work/life balance.

    Cons

Horrible communication, upper management out of touch with the employees, raises/bonuses given out selectively, parent company completely out of touch with the needs of the market, company not sure what it wants to be

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get in touch with what your employees and listen to what they have to say. The politics have gotten out of hand, so you need to take control and put it to a stop.

    Pros

Offers an awesome salary for a retail position
Interesting and varied inventory, ranging from knives, to watches, to clothing
Comes with a hefty employee discount (if ordered through company)
    401k offered after 90 days

    Cons

Complete and utter lack of comunication and organization
HR is nearly impossible to get a hold of, even though you may be supplied with numbers/emails
Expectations are often of the impossible
Issues receiving paychecks / getting paid on time
Little training at first, followed by information dump in 10+ hour training/orientation
A negative feeling between employees and upper managment
