Pros

- expert at brand management
- good strategy and execution
- can pay above average (not a rule though)
- is changing to fit a more competitive market place

Cons

- some departments/groups expect you to work 7 days a week including evenings. it is insane
- some managers have no boundaries (late evening meetings, week-end assignments,....)
- not very open about corporate changes (will not discuss staff reductions, throwing people overboard without notice,....
- is transforming from a non-profit consortium owned entity to a more competitive business and with that expect changes (aka: positions eliminated, downsizing of some groups and shifting priorities.)

Advice to Senior Management

Like every where else - some inept and pretty outrageous managers are permitted to hang on while they would have been fired elsewhere - some of them push the limits of legality
