I have been working at Visa Inc. full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great group of very smart people who care about getting things done.
New management looks very promising and seems to be making change to address many of the current problems.
Salary, bonuses and benefits are good.

    Cons

    Little job empowerment.
There is an almost crippling amount of processes and procedures providing little flexibility to allow for creative solutions or improvements.
Management tends to micro manage employees.
Little room for career advancement with not structured career paths.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow employees to be empowerment, even if this means a few mistakes are made along the way. This will lead to a better, more capable, and happier staff.
Reduce the level of management scrutiny, oversight, and control, again allowing employees to be more empowered in their roles and responsibilities.
