Pros

Work hours are generally flexible. Generous vacation policy. Decent bonus program. Good functional training opportunities are available (finding the time to take advantage of them is another story). Visa has a good brand image and name recognition in the marketplace.

Cons

Weak cross-organizational communication; too many silos. Rewards and recognition programs have been cut back. Most company sponsored staff events have been eliminated. Decision making appears driven by short-term objectives (i.e. quarterly reporting).

Advice to Senior Management

Executive leadership demonstrates limited vision and does a poor job of communicating their goals for the organization. Employee morale is poor. Stock awards are heavy at the top with very little trickle down to the minions.
