Great brand and smart people / Highly dysfunctional silos of politicians.

I have been working at Visa Inc.

    Pros

Great brand, smart people and good benefits.

    Cons

Highly dysfunctional silos of politicians. Visa suffers from wind at your back disease and money can solve anything. Advancement depends on the least errors not the highest gains.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Act as if your brand, money and legacy isn't there to lean on. You have smart people covering their backs 50% of the time, what a waste. Before its too late, clear the runway and create a couture of results and accept calculated risk.

    I worked at Visa Inc.

    Pros

Market leader in the payments space.

    Cons

Very difficult to say many good things about Visa after the IPO. Executive management has no concern for employees while continuing to enrich themselves with lucrative compensation packages. Politics are the norm and favoritism is high. The CFO and other executive management fail to communicate with the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to lead and communicate.
