I have been working at Visionworks part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits for part-time employees, somewhat flexible work schedule, commission can be nice, pay is good in comparison to other places.

    Cons

Sales goals are unrealistic and based off of how many hours work. You will often be expected to work alone and do the job of many people. Everything must be perfect even when you do not have the tools necessary to do a quality job. The company would rather hire inexperienced outsiders rather than promoting from within.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try working a week in the stores without modifying the conditions your sales associates have to work with. Maybe then you'll understand how ridiculous your expectations are.
