Negative Outlook
Approves of CEO

Pros

Smart people in most departments(except HR)
Strong presence in Manufacturing and Technology
Free beer on Fridays
Higher than average compensation packages

Cons

HR is completely useless, they have no idea how to retain top talent, turnover is spiraling out of control and it's swept under the carpet with metrics and Powerpoint presentations.
Its not what you know, its who you know in terms of promotions
Unrealistic expectations
Zero work life balance

Advice to Management

Bring Robert Keane back from Paris
Wipe out the entire HR function and start over
Stop the madness of reorgs every other month

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Fast paced
    Energetic
Visionary leader, but he is in Paris and not in the day to day

    Cons

Company doesn't know what it wants...shifts in and out of strategies quickly and doesn't implement them well enough to be successful. Planning is an after thought, it is more of a shotgun approach.
Some parts of the organization are worse than a sweat shop, you will work 70+ hours for months on end. work/life balance is non-existant in these areas
You are treated like a 3rd grader...you have no real authority and scope to get your work done. Expect for people to check with you on a regular basis to set priorities (i.e., daily task lists of 15 items)
Organization does not allow you to use your brain and be strategic. It is about getting the daily tasks completed.
what is considered to be a thorough hiring practice is really a joke. 16 hours of interviews for roles below Director...get real. Either you know of you don't know about a candidate within the first few hours, no need for a candidate to meet with 15 people.

    Advice to Management

Get the right people in leadership. Look around, when flocks of people are leaving a group...it is about bad management. I've seen top talent leave, you make a mockery by protecting

Great company with great values, but some managers don't practice what the company preaches

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

great pay, great benefits, products you can support, innovative

    Cons

How you are treated depends on the department you work for and the managment. The company boasts how they give employees a lot of flexibility, but the department management can set their own rules and they are often personal decisions, not business decisions. Not everyone gets treated fairly or has the same opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Getting a pulse on how employees really feel about working there and how they are treated needs to happen more often.
