I have been working at Vistaprint

Pros

- Company continues to grow, which creates opportunities for individuals to diversify their work, expand on their skills, and grow both laterally and up the ladder.
- Company continues to look at new ways to motivate talent to continue to keep them engaged and happy.
- Data driven organization where collaborating is key to success, and encouraged from the top down during globalization

Cons

- Things change constantly, so if you're not agile or don't like change in your role, this isn't the place for you.
- Company continues to grow rapidly and there will always be growing pains associated with breaking new ground. Need to be able to roll with it.

    Pros

Many smart people, inspiring vision, striving to hold onto entrepreneurial roots, founder/CEO appears to be a deep thinker

    Cons

Unclear lines of authority; low levels of responsibility for action, results in parts of the organization; strategy not clear enough to execute on consistently

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clarify strategy, delegate responsibility for making it concrete to the best senior managers, focus on learning from execution in real time
