I have been working at Vistaprint

Pros

International environment and a great way to learn e-marketing in a high growth environment . Many nationalities make it an interesting and cosmopolitan place to be.

Cons

50-60 hour weeks under the auspices of discretionary effort..! Too much to do, too little time to do it in and the 80/20 rule is used regularly as the pressure release- so just as long as you get it done then it doesnt have to be perfect -but be aware the 20 % that you dont do is the 20% that management come back and ask you loads of questions about and beat beat you up over .
Only work here if you are single and dont have interests other than work.
Highly data driven environment means that work relationships and how things are done are not important its more about what you do and the $ results your activities bring in

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Vistaprint needs to start recruiting marketing talent in country rather than continue with the strategy of trying to find emarketing talent in spain

I have been working at Vistaprint

    Pros

VistaPrint has a good leadership team and opportunities to prove yourself are plentiful

    Cons

The company is growing ao quickly that it if hard for recently hired employees like myself to keep up. If you're OK with playing catch up for awhile it is a good company for you.

    I worked at Vistaprint

    Pros

To learn about Performance Marketing, be in international company, the location and opportunities to work and live in Barcelona

    Cons

    - 2 class employees
    - often unfair career advancements
    - company does not keep its word
    - bad processes for employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop treating employees who haven't worked in the U.S before as second class. Improve processes and stop demanding 50 work hours when you only pay 40.
