    interesting customers and coworkers help make this a decent work experience.

    Cons

    Demanding responsibilities, difficult to take vacations, negative atmosphere, inconsistent management training that would improve career track. loyal employees are taken advantage of until they resign..

    there needs to be morale and ethics training courses.

    I worked at Vitamin Shoppe full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Meet fun health minded people. Trying new product samples for free. 25% employee discount. Having protein bars and drinks available when hungry.

    Cons

    Too low pay and too little payroll for whats expected from Management down to Part Time associates. Extremely Needy and often times mentally unstable customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take note of what is expected of your employees. Customer Service, high traffic, rotation, cleanliness and organization, market withdrawals, two shipments a week, surprise visits from vendor reps expecting time with the employees and the knowledge that each Health Enthusiast is expected to learn simply to help a customer is ridiculous for minimum wage.
