I worked at Vivint full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Great work life balance, awesome perks for the entire staff including food, exercise area, charity involvement. Innovative vibe that looks to grow their brand and business.

Cons

You are working at an MLM. Sales reps can be dishonest, and manipulative. The work isn't necessarily rewarding, as much as you are just collecting a check.

    Pros

    1. New cutting edge technologies
    2. Growth and learning opportunities
    3. Flexible work hours.
    4. Necessary tools are provided to do the job.
    5. Free food, that actually tastes great. There are many options for lunch, including healthy choices.

    Cons

The medical and time off benefits aren't good on paper. Time off is up to your manager so that can be worked around. Growth is so fast a lot of people work compartmentalized so coordination is both difficult and sometimes non-existent on some projects.

Good if you are in school and not trying to support a family

    Pros

The company tries very hard to appeal to their young employees with intensives galore. Contests, prizes the works. The cafeteria is great. The environment is good over all.

    Cons

Your pay check is based on performance, which is not necessarily a con, but there were times where I met every goal needed for the higher pay grade and received the lower pay level. When I asked my supervisor about it I was told that they only allow a certain percent of the employees to have the high pay grade.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay employees more and a consistence amount and they will stay longer.
