Pros

Opportunities for growth of your career - I have been promoted recently and it feels good to be recognized for the success I have had over the last few years.

Pays well- If you are good at your job you will make money, and with the chance for career advancement to make even more! As with anything, a little hard work goes a long way to make this happen.

Great work facilities- Casual dress code, free candy, fancy latte machines, free fitness classes, an amazing gym, arcade games, and reward trips to tropical locations, how could you NOT like coming to work!?

Senior Leaders who are present- The CEO has a monthly town hall meeting in the Gym where he takes questions from all employees and keeps everyone in the loop in what the company is up to. Since not everyone can have a personal connection with the Executives, It is a great way to actually feel connected in a company with over 1000 employees.

Cons

Office is Not Metro Accessible

No stock options to employees

No work from home policy, you are expected to come into the office everyday

Advice to Management

Continue having regular Town Hall meetings and keep everyone posted on company updates etc.

    Pros

Aside from the uber-cool Vocus Town with all the great places to walk, relax, work out, socialize and think; Vocus has a great energy among it's employees. There is a positive attitude that makes work enjoyable. The people you work with are helpful and the attitude overall is that we can all help each other succeed. In the world of sales it is a welcome environment.

    Cons

Product training is more hands on than class type. You have to be quick and while the learning curve is tolerable, the learning process could use improvement.

    Advice to Management

Better product training for sales staff before engaging with clients.

    Pros

    - Results based sales environment.
    - Hit your numbers and you make great money.
    - Hit your numbers consistently and advancement opportunities present themselves quickly
    - Great company culture, work hard play hard.
    - Excellent facility with fully equipped gym, basketball court, arcade, lounge areas

    Cons

    - Parking lot fills up quickly
    - Monthly messages seem to have gone away
    - Not convenient to Metro
    - Currently not employee stock purchase program
    - Reps could use better competitive intelligence
    - Quarterly Top Rep prize of $500 is a joke

    Advice to Management

There should be better monetary awards for the top rep of the quarter. $500 for being top rep of the quarter is a joke, it should be $2,000-$4,000. This would create a much more intense dog fight among A players and provide extra motivation to B players to improve.
