Volt does not recognize or value their employees they are not progressive and lack the ability to change with the market place. They do not know how to leverage the existing talent within their facilities. There are a lot of negative, gossipy, back biters particularly in the Midwest region that are not involved in generating revenue or listening to the voice of the customer. Volt is a six sigma organization but you can hardly tell it by how the organization is run. Turnover is very high and morale is generally low. They are also bordering on age discrimination in their practices of promotions and hiring. Hire and promote the young and eager to manage the experienced?????

Advice to Senior Management

Look at the management staff in place and then look for people that exhibit the opposite qualities. Two brothers rolled their sleeves up and actually worked to build a business in an economic downturn. They exceeded expectations with integrity and positive actions.
