Pros

Some contract work, primarly in technical fields, is competitive.

Cons

There are too many to include here, but Volt does NOT value its in-house employees in any way; including pay, personal recognition, merit awards, training programs, and affording their employees opportunities from within. Cross training is not provided; although necessary in many capacities. Employee morale is very low. Even though Volt is a staffing company, it does not know how to retain its own staff. Departments have not developed a ny effective or efficient methods of communicating with each other and, as a result, there have been many serious consequences, which have affected internal staff as well as customers and clients.
