Vonage – “Fun place to work for a workaholic.”

Pros

They provided $100 a month towards food. Newly renovated building was nice. Nice perks like company picnic and holiday party. They provide training, on-site gym. Great 401K matching, but only vests gradually. It was a fun group of people for the most part, friendliest place I've worked.

Cons

Stock options tanked. Upper management was not always rational. Sudden firings. Expectation to work long hours. HR policy kept changing, with regards to vacation policies and such. Job title changed without any explanation. My family didn't see me for an entire month. I guess it depends on your job (customer service vs. management vs. technical) how you're treated.

Advice to Senior Management

I don't have any particular advice. It was a fun place to work when they had their act together. Treat people with respect all the time.
