I worked at W.W. Grainger full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The company treats their employees fairly well but the management is horrible. Pay is well below average and motivation to perform at your best is not there. Reps constantly express interest in other positions in the company and management will not even talk with them about it. Rather, they say you are not ready and that is that.

    Cons

    -Pay/Commission package
    -Management
    -No opportunity for advancement

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Help your employees grow their career. Turnover in the group is high because of low pay and no room for advancement.

    Doesn't Recommend
