Easily one of the worst places I've ever worked

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee  in  Kirkland, WA
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Kirkland, WA

    Pros

    - It's a good stepping stone to have Tier III Technical support on your resume
    - Nice phone service discount

    Cons

    - The lack of communication from upper management down is absolutely astounding. There is literally NO communication at all to the rest of the employees in regards to company objectives, direction, new policies, et al.
    - The benefits are a joke
    - The pay is a joke. You can easily make more for your skills somewhere else
    - If you have a a good supervisor, they will work VERY hard for you to help you along as best as they can. If you don't have a good supervisor, good luck. They are normally underqualified and have zero critical thinking skills to effectively manage a team.
    - The annual review system is a joke, as there are no annual raises
    - Yet, they expect you to hit absurd metrics and immediately go to punitive action if they are not hit instead of collaborative coaching.
-The building facilities are scary. AC regularly did not work during the summer, the bathrooms regularly flooded, mold could be seen growing on the walls, the parking situation was horrid.
    - The Executive team in England are hilarious, as it's clear they have no care for their employees whatsoever. Not once has the CEO or any of his managers sat down with an employee to see how they perform their duties day in and day out despite being to the Kirkland location on many occasions.
    - The lack of support that supervisors receive from upper management is unbelievable, and then they get frustrated when certain metrics aren't hit.
    - The company culture is unbelievably toxic. You fear for your job on a daily basis, and because turnover is so high the company has no qualms with firing you to hire someone else at the drop of a hat.
    - Unethical advancement practices. So long as you are good buddies with a corrupt supervisor you will easily get moved up to a position. If you do get moved up to a Supervisor Apprentice position there is no increase in pay despite a dramatic increase in work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's difficult to offer any advice when you have executive leadership that could really care less about the well-being of its American employees...so why bother? The best bet is to work here for a few months or a year to get the experience, and then move on to greener pastures as soon as humanly possible.
