Pros

If you're desperate for a job, work for Wachovia

Cons

Management treats every meeting like they're tasked with hiding the crown jewels. Every minor meeting is top secret and people are promoted because of personal relationships with senior management.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop mistrusting your back office people. They work too hard for too little. The only reason they stay is out of loyalty to their co-workers. You've disgraced the hard work Ed Crutchfield Sr and Jr worked so hard to establish. Their legacy is dead. The benefit package offered to non-executives is shameful and the compensation for salaried employees is pathetic because you refuse to compensate older employees. Often, validation and praise came from clients as opposed to management. It was a MISERABLE PLACE TO WORK.
