I worked at Wachovia as a contractor for more than a year

Pros

Offered flexible work options - part-time, work from home on occasion. People I worked with were helpful, cooperative and collegial. Being a contract worker and not a full-time employee, it would have been easy to feel like an outsider but I was welcomed in to the group and treated like a permanent employee.

Cons

Big company with lots of bureaucracy which could sometimes slow down forward movement

Recommends
Neutral Outlook
Approves of CEO
