I worked at Wachovia full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Wachovia really valued its employees. Appreciated the 360 review process. Would go back to work for the bank in a heartbeat. Compensated employees well. Even as an Admin i was encouraged to take ownership of my job and learn as much about the business my group did.

Cons

Some of the Wachovia culture has been lost with the change to Wells Fargo but from what I know Wells is still a great company to work for.

    Pros

Always looking to promote and train. Senior staff knew you by your full name and actually remembered you. Friendly coworkers. Top business for Customer Service by far!!! Started out in the flagship in Rockefeller in New York. Miss you Wachovia!!!

No longer around, Wells Fargo now

I worked at Wachovia full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great internal and external culture of service.

    Cons

Poor senior leadership. Pure greed by senior executives led to bad decisions and ultimately the collapse of the organization. Wells Fargo culture is about money, not service.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop the culture of product pushing and overly aggressive (no excuses) pursuit of achieving ridiculously high goals.
