I worked at Waitrose

Pros

Discount is good, and would imagine promotion prospects are good if you have a modicum of intelligence. I only worked there part time so I don't know.

Cons

There is a high concentration of studets, which can be good, but it also means that you end up with a lot of people who aren't enthused about their work.

I have been working at Waitrose

    Pros

Company is expanding and has dealt with recession very well. I am proud of the company increasing sales to £5 billion since I joined.

    Cons

Never enough hours in the branches. Partners training at all levels on decrease. More a case of get on with it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review how you work out your labour budget. There is never enough hours in branches. It is the branches who drive the company's growth
