Wal-Mart – “Corporate Walmart careers disappoint recent college grad.”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
The culture was great. There is a diverse group, and for the most part, everyone is committed to being a part of the team.
Cons
Low pay and poor benefits. I could praise the culture all day, but when it comes down to it, people have to make a living. Saving money is there motto, but they don't help their associates live better.
Advice to Senior Management
Wal-Mart would save a lot of money if they spaced their stores further apart. In doing so, they wouldn't cannibalize the sales of their current stores, and they could afford to pay associates higher wages.
