I worked at Walgreens full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Easy Mindless Work.
Exactly what you would expect working for a large chain general store.

Cons

Paid Minimum Wage.
Do as you're told, your opinion does not matter.
Unloading the weekly trucks was difficult due to location of store.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

At least act like your employee's opinion matters.

I have been working at Walgreens full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of potential to advance, used to have good pay. this is somewhat questionable now that they are "restructuring"

    Cons

be prepared to work a horrible schedule and deal with unruly people, and its not just the customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

QUIT Stretching your staff thin, and underpaying your lower management $10/hr for someone that is in the store dealing with the customers is horrible!!! Store level people are under appreciated and under paid. SR management gets ALL holidays off and they want to keep stores open longer so they can make more money. SR Management needs to remember that store employees have family too and they would like to spend holidays with them!
