    Pros

    Name recognition got clients to listen in crowded space
    Benefits were pretty good, but on the decline
    Opened doors to other opportunities and looks good on resume

    Cons

    No innovation or new products
    Little advancement opportunity
    Very political
    Often selling against other Dow Jones products or even within same department

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Create new products
    Don't assume involve employees in process
    Invest in tools to help e.g. Hoovers
    Think a little more like a silicon valley company
