I have been working at Walmart

Pros

direct hands-on experience on the first day.
plenty of career advancement and career path opportunities.
supportive bosses.

Cons

low pay, bad medical benefit, mediocre vacation days (can't be carried over to the next year), NWA location, not enough on-board training, shoot things at "retail speed" and not allowing enough time to aim!!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Diversity is important. We are so good at executing. but there are only a few who have true vision. Promotions should be given to those who have excellent performance AND intellectual qualification.

I have been working at Walmart

    Pros

High turnover allows growth opportunities where new store growth opportunities are not available.

    Cons

Inconsistant enforcment of policies. They take full advantage of the term "at will employment" and are more concerned with diversity than finding the best person for the job.
