I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

You get a raise every year.
Depending on your manager, it is easy to get time off that you need.

    Cons

Depending on your manager, it is DIFFICULT to get time off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too many managers telling you different ways to get the same job done, they all want you to do a single project different ways.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The managers tell you what needs to be done but do not hover over your shoulder to make sure that it is done their way. There is nothing physically or mentally demanding required. The managers (up to the Store Manager) will all do the same work as the Sales Associates when required. They are all pretty much down to Earth.

    Cons

On the other hand, the managers minds may change rapidly. I've had to change end caps and features on consecutive days. Gets boring quickly.
