I have been working at Walmart part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good people, nice co-workers, fair front-en managers such as Customer Service Managers and Zone Managers

    Cons

    Low pay
No benefits, sick days, time off, or holiday or overtime pay for part-time employees
No more full time associates being hired so they dont have to pay $12/hr and give vacation and sick days.
"Open Door" meetings to solve problems are held behind closed doors. You get the same scripted reply from every manger you speak to and situations dont get resolved.
Favoritism- not everyone has an equal opportunity to advance and its not based on ability or effort or time Some 20+year ourly associate are still doing the same job- hey aren't even CSms ye...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more down-to earth
Care about your employees and actually listen to them
Stop allowing front-end supervisor to bully hourly associates
Give peope sick days- going to work ill is bad for all employees and customers

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
