I worked at Walmart full-time for more than a year

Pros

They provide income when other options aren't available. The other associates are generally nice people.

Cons

Lots of moving stuff around without forward motion. This lack of productivity holds done wages. The training is a joke.

I have been working at Walmart

    Pros

Great compensation amd benefits are decent. Working hours are ok but its typical retail so can get out of hand.

    Cons

No real sense of what is needed in the stores. Reacts to others and then tries to beat them no matter how it affects the associates. To many measureables, spend all day typing emails instead of executing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give the stores back to the managers.

    I worked at Walmart

    Pros

Easy application, easy to find (esp. in a city), well organized, efficient, nice working environment

    Cons

Customers can be hard to deal with, my floor manager was terrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more worker review of the managers.. it's intimidating to speak up against a manager
