I worked at Walmart part-time (more than an year)

Pros

Very nice fellow employee's and customers

Cons

Poor equipment, under staffed, most under trained, rude management, company shuts down A.C. at 10 pm so overnight employee's have to work in extremely hot conditions, favoritism, low pay and poor benefits.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I can't think of any pros. May be job security

    Cons

Low Salary. They usually trick you saying about bonus but if you decide to leave in between you get nothing.
    Not so great with technology.
You will be generally put into different technology from your skill set.
Longer hours. They say 45 hour work week but end up working more than that.
    Not so great benefits.
Infrastructure is bad. Can't get things done due to very bad infrastructure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

See what other companies are doing to keep the employees happy. Upgrade the technology, upgrade the infrastructure. Pay good. Score employees on what they did not on what you hear.

I worked at Walmart full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I really cannot think of any.

    Cons

The cement floor is not good for feet and back. Received no training whatsoever. Job duties were unclear. Management's job duties seemed unclear. Unorganized scheduling. Employees seemed unhappy and not much teamwork. "Just a paycheck" attitude throughout.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dale Carnegie books are helpful for managers. The Golden Rule.
