I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work schedule is a plus. Allows for coordinating family time. Benefits are good as well.

    Cons

Not enough help to move freight from backroom to floor in a timely manner. Many sales lost due to inventory left in backroom. Store standards are below standard and unable to maintain due to lack of help.

    Advice to Management

Add more people to stores to increase sales and ensure that product is out to floor as needed. Low prices are great, but at what expense.

    Pros

Good benefits, the 10% discount card is great, there is room for promotions but it seems like it takes forever to get there

    Cons

Way too many managers. They will be breathing down your neck all the time, could just be the ones i worked with however, I was a member of the night instock team and we were assigned areas and the computer assigned a timetable to complete. Customers or no customers we were expected to make ridiculous timetables and were counseled and even written up if they were not being made. You will not get more then 32 hours a week unless necissary or you work there for a long time. And you wont have a single weekend off either.
